Each month I will donate 15% of my proceeds to a different organization, with the goal of increasing the percentage donated as my business grows. I’ll announce each month’s organization around the first of the month. You send me your quilt, I make a donation, easy peasy!
give together
Make a donation of any amount to the charity of the month. You can use the fundraiser through my Instagram account or make your own donation and PM me your receipt number. At the end of each month I’ll randomly select a donor to receive free quilting services. This will be fully transferable, so if you’re not a quilter you can work with me to build a quilt for yourself, gift the longarm services to a friend, or pay it forward to someone who could use a little boost after this year that was...just SUCH. A. YEAR!
donate scraps
In an effort to reduce my own quilting waste, I started chopping up my batting trimmings to use as stuffing for dog beds. Once a bed is full, I sew it up and donate it to a local shelter or pet drive. When you send me your quilt for longarm services, you can specify what size trimmings you’d like to donate. (i.e. up to 2” wide strips, up to 6” wide strips...whatever you think is too small for you to use for other projects.) This way we can keep our scraps out of the landfill and contribute to local animal rescue groups!
