E2E quilting is a single design used over the entire quilt. E2E may be done using either pantographs or free motion quilting.
custom or graffiti quilting
starts at $0.03 per square inch
Custom quilting refers to design that is customized for each block, shape, or area of the quilt. Graffiti quilting is an intricate type of allover quilting which may be customized to the features of the quilt top. Both types of quilting are more complex and time consuming so the final quote may depend on scale and density.
binding
I am happy to attach your binding to the front of the quilt before taking it off the frame.
If your quilt is the cost will be
up to 5,000 square inches $10
5,001 to 10,000 square inches $15
Over 10,001 square inches $20
batting
I hope to offer batting by the yard soon. For now, please send your very favorite batting along with your quilt top and backing, or have batting shipped directly to me with your name included on the packing slip.
thread
I most often use Aurifil cotton 50 wt or Sulky rayon 40 wt threads. White, natural, or medium grey thread colors are included in the cost of quilting. A charge of $10 will be added for each additional thread color.
complimentary trimming
I am happy to trim excess batting and backing for you. (I used to hate this step but now I find it oddly satisfying.) Or you can feel free to say “Hands off, lady!” and I’ll send it back just the way it comes off the frame.
