I am sciency by day (hey, that's a word!), quilty by night.  I live in CT with my husband

and our two beautiful girls!

I have been quilting for over 10 years but my hobby just became an unhealthy obsession over the last few years.  (Seriously, I'm a quilting addict!)  I like to use earth-friendly materials when possible, including organic cotton, reclaimed fabrics, and bamboo/organic cotton batting.  I might not save the planet by quilting, but I'm trying to go easy on the old gal!
