Last weekend...

...we took a quick trip to Germany...Deutschland, if you will...
...we took a walk past a lovely biergarten...
 ...and an opera house (or haus)
Ok, just kidding!  We were really at the Cleveland Renaissance.
Those Hollywood folk were filming The Avenger's and we watched them transform Cleveland into Germany (or at least a German-occupied space...I really don't know anything about the movie...).  Although I did NOT see Samuel L. Jackson, Gwyneth Paltrow, or Lou Ferrigno, it was still pretty cool to see the process.  (Note: I might have fainted if I saw Lou Ferrigno!  Or growled in his face and said "Don't make me angry.  You wouldn't like me when I'm angry!"  The Hulk was my FAVORITE when I was a kid - and even though the Underoos were for boys, I was allowed to get the undershirt!  Really though, if Herr Ferrigno would have been wearing intact pants, I might not have recognized him anyway.  It's possible that I actually DID see someone famous, but since I haven't been to the movies since the last James Bond, I probably wouldn't have known they were famous...I'm a little bit out of touch!)

We were in Ohio for Chris's cousin's wedding.  We got goody bags filled with snacks at the hotel...
 {The bride's name is Joy...isn't that cute?  It will be even cuter when I use it as my fabric shopping bag!  It will be filled to the brim with joy!!}

The wedding itself was beautiful.  Stunning, actually.  Rose petals fell from the ceiling during the newly weds' recessional! (I am not exaggerating this time...petals literally fell from the ceiling!)

It was also a lot of fun!...
Hope you kids had a good start to your week too!
